ABOUT HARRY’S
TUTORING ACADEMY
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
My name is Harrison, and I’m the founder of the academy. I graduated with an Honours degree in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and have over eight years of experience tutoring students aged 8 to 18 in Maths, English, and Physics.
During my time at university, I learned that academic success isn’t just about intelligence – it’s about knowing how to study effectively. Like many students, I struggled at first with how to structure my revision and make the most of my efforts. It was a stressful, trial-and-error process that caused a lot of anxiety along the way. Eventually, I found a system that worked – but I couldn’t help thinking: why weren’t we taught this at school?
That experience inspired me to create a tutoring academy that takes the guesswork and stress out of studying.

ABOUT THE ACADEMY
At Harry’s Tutoring Academy, we offer specialist support in Maths, English, and Physics for pupils from Primary 4 all the way up to S6. Each child receives a one-hour lesson per week, followed by homework tailored specifically to reinforce what they’ve learned. We take full ownership of each student’s academic progress, focusing on the areas where they need the most support and building confidence through consistent, targeted learning.
For students preparing for National 5 and Higher exams, we are especially results-driven. We understand that the letters on a results sheet can open – or close – doors to future opportunities. That’s why we provide clear, condensed revision packs that take the stress out of organising study materials, allowing students to focus on understanding and remembering content, rather than worrying about what or how to revise.
Beyond academics, our tutoring academy is also a place where young people can develop a new identity. Away from the pressures of school social groups, kids are more likely to be themselves, try new things, and take learning seriously without fear of judgment.
At Harry’s Tutoring Academy, we believe that every child can succeed. All it takes is the right environment, the right resources, and the right teaching – three things we are proud to offer every student who walks through our door.
